Wow, what a spectacular event we had on June 8th. I’m sure you‘re tired of hearing it, but we could not do it without you!
Our annual golf event was a great success, helping us raise slightly more than our budget goal of $25,000.
We had higher than normal numbers which included 93 golfers and 72 additional diners for a total of 165 attending guests. Keri, alumni mom, really moved the crowd and we had our highest ever paddle raise with many donors at the $1,000 level. Our other teen parent speakers, guest emcee and program director co-hostess really did a great job on the paddle raise and we are finding this to be a hugely successful addition to our golf event. Our silent auction raised $7,415 and our (2) live auction guests, Bear’s Linebacker Jim Morrissey and Stylist Laura Romeo, raised an additional $1,450!
We are so thankful to our over 58 item donors and hole sponsors and finally our golf committee, specifically volunteers, Kim Struik and Linda Carroll who gave endless support and hours to help make this event possible. We’ll see you June 7th, 2019 back at the beautiful White Deer Run Golf Course for our 10th annual Tee Off For Kindred Life.
