Our three Kindred Life Offices launched for our program year in September. With excitement, grateful hearts, kiddos a year older/new kiddos added, and a few new guidelines for Covid19 we were ready to go!
Our Antioch Office launched with three moms, three kiddos, a new Program Director and a new Counselor. We are thankful to both St. Mark in Lindenhurst and Northbridge Church in Antioch for being our host sites!
Our Wheeling Office launched with four moms, nine kiddos, and a returning staff and volunteer team ready to go! We are thankful for Our Savior Church in Wheeling for being our host site!
Our Gurnee Office launched with six parents, six kiddos, and a growing volunteer team led by the Program Director and Counselor. We are thankful to Village Church of Gurnee for our host site!
Our program year began with getting to know each other, setting goals for the year, and diving into our theme of Deeply Rooted. In September we learned about God as the Gardener and read passages in John 15 and Isaiah 61. Our parents attended personal counseling sessions and meetings with their mentors.
We are ready for 2020-2021! We trust that God will continue to provide ways for us to meet as we meet the needs of our teen parents and their families as they move forward toward their goals and thrive!
