TT Article11 Kindred Life Antioch students, friends, staff and alumni donned bright green TEAM THRIVE shirts and walked the Antioch Run for Freedom 5K on July 4th to raise funds and awareness for Kindred Life. This walk was also an opportunity for fellowship and bonding between teen moms, alumni and mentors.

“I had fun walking with my new mentor,” one teen mom said. “It was encouraging to see people want to help us as we learn how to parent.”

TEAM THRIVE is a vital source of fundraising for Kindred Life.  Racers register for an event and set a fundraising goal, then obtain financial support from family and friends.

Even if you cannot support a racer financially, there are several other ways you can be involved! We are always looking for race-day cheer support to encourage our racers during their event. You can also be involved through prayer support, by praying  for health, endurance and attainment of fundraising goals for our racers.

You can also become a member of TEAM THRIVE! Signing up is easy, either through our website or by contacting one of our staff (info@kindredlifeministries.org).

Come out and walk with a teen parent and her child at Gurnee Days 10K run/ family 2K walk on Saturday, August 13that Warren High School. Show your support to young moms and dads by walking alongside them and their mentors.  Register to walk with our Gurnee group by August 5th with  TEAM THRIVE, show your support with your financial donation, or stop by and cheer them on! We hope to see you there!
