What a loaded question right?

Jesus is not a thought we have or a flannel board picture. He’s not what we believe to make ourselves feel better about death. We want our teen parents to know about the real Jesus, son of God who came to heal, redeem, and love them into eternity.

Although we always want to dig deep into theological concepts, our program directors and volunteer mentors realized we need to lay a solid foundation in our weekly devotions so in 2020 we are continuing our journey answering the question: “Who does Jesus say he is?”

“I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” John 6:35

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

“Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:7-10

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” John 10:11

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.” John 11:25-26

We are seeing God work though his word in the lives of our young clients. If you are passionate about teen parent ministry would you consider praying alongside us? Would you consider hosting a Sippy Cup drive, bringing a meal or volunteering for our Golf planning committee? It is our desire to expand our network of loving supporters to continue equipping the parents who are learning to raise their own children in a world that is judging, condescending and relentless for their energy to be self focused.
